Project objective: <\/strong>The aim of the project is to broaden access to the content of the journal Prace Naukowe Akademii Ekonomicznej im. Oskara Langego we Wroc\u0142awiu \/ Rsearch\u00a0papers of Oskar Lange Academy of Economics in Wroclaw\u00a0by making metadata and full texts of articles available in the Lower Silesia Digital Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project effects: <\/strong>As part of the project, the Library will register the content of the journal Prace Naukowe Akademii Ekonomicznej im. Oskar Lange in Wroc\u0142aw for the years 2005-2008 in the Lower Silesian Digital Library. This will enrich the existing collection of journals with 4,300 article descriptions with full text.     Project objective:<\/strong> As part of the project, the Library employees will digitize 112 doctoral dissertations defended at the UEW Branch in Jelenia G\u00f3ra in the years 1993-2012. After the digitization process, information about the doctoral dissertations will be registered in the Lower Silesian Digital Library and some of them will be made available in full text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Project effects: <\/strong>Ensuring access to digitized dissertations will bring benefits not only to researchers from the national or global community, but also to people from outside the academic environment, who\u00a0will be able to use the scientific achievements generated at UEW for the general benefit and development of various spheres of social and economic life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    A collection of German Polish books from 1803-1944. Dissemination of information about German publications relating to Poland contained in the resources of the Main Library of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Economics and Business.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t

    To increase the resource of the publicly accessible OPAC catalog database of the integrated library system by descriptions of books included in the collection of the Main Library of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in 1971-1980.<\/strong> The project received funding under the task of science dissemination activities from the funds of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – 1097\/P-DUN\/2013. Completion date: 1.09.2013 – 31.12.2014 The purpose of the task was to supplement the catalog database resource of the integrated library system with descriptions of items from 1971 – 1980. This resource consists of often unique Polish and foreign publications in the field of economic sciences and management. The development and placement of descriptions in the database allowed the dissemination of information about these collections through the OPAC catalog and national and international central catalogs such as KARO and NUKAT, thanks to which readers gained access to these collections previously dead (due to lack of information) and the possibility to order them via the Internet.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n

Completion date: 01.04.2016 – 31.12.2016 As part of Task 1, descriptions of the publications in the Collection were prepared and made available in the OPAC databases of the PROLIB system and NUKAT, and as part of Task 2, scans were made of publications carefully selected from the Collection described above (35800 pages), which, after appropriate processing, were made available free of charge on the platform of the Lower Silesian Digital Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Project results:<\/strong>\u00a0As part of the project, the Library will register the contents of the journal Scientific Works of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business for the years 2008-2011 in the Lower Silesia Digital Library.     Project Goal:<\/strong>\u00a0The goal of the project is to supplement the catalog database resource of the integrated library system with descriptions of items from 1801- 1945. This resource consists of often unique Polish and foreign publications in the field of economic sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Project result:<\/strong>\u00a0The development and inclusion of 7,000 descriptions in the database will allow the dissemination of information about these collections through the OPAC catalog and national and international central catalogs such as KaRo, NUKAT and WorldCat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The project has received funding under the Social Responsibility of Science \u2013 Support for Research Libraries program, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education \u2013\u00a0SONB\/SP\/463197\/2020<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Implementation date:<\/strong>\u00a01.06.2020 \u2013 30.11.2021 \u2013 amount of funds: PLN 224,783.28. As part of the project, the Library will digitize doctoral dissertations from 1958-2000 (713 doctorates).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Project Objective:<\/strong>\u00a0To disseminate the resource of the collection of full-text doctoral dissertations of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business by digitizing and archiving them in the university\u2019s WIR Repository. In addition, the information and selected full texts will be placed in the Lower Silesia Digital Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Project results:<\/strong>\u00a0Provide free, unrestricted access to the oldest scientific dissertations associated with the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, which can contribute to broad research on the history of Polish economic and economic thought after World War II. During the digitization process, the printed versions of the doctorates will undergo bookbinding work, which will preserve the valuable collections and protect them from destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
