Information for Guests and Graduates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Readers who are not students or employees of state universities in Wroc\u0142aw can use the resources of the UE Main Library as guests. Graduates can use the resources of the UE Main Library as guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest readers must first register with the Library using the online form to use the Library’s resources. They must present their ID within 14 days of online registration to activate their account and have their card assigned to their account. The library card can be an Urban card or another card. If a reader does not have an electronic card, a library card can be obtained on-site for a fee of 20 PLN. The card fee must be paid by card on the first floor of the Library or by bank transfer. Registering to the library constitutes confirmation of their familiarity with the regulations and acceptance of all their provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests may only use the library’s collection and databases on-site. Registered users may also use the computers. Computer equipment is for educational and research purposes only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest readers are not permitted to borrow books!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enter the Library, please present your electronic card\/Urban card to the librarian on duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the book collection<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the book collection located on three floors, readers have access to books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, scientific publications, studies, reports, magazines, statistical materials, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Scientific Information<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Scientific Information Centre (building U, 1st floor SWD), where readers can use databases, assistance in searching for scientific information and literature on the subject, as well as books, magazines, studies and statistical data regarding the European Union, as well as current newspapers and magazines, standards and doctoral theses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the cloakroom and lockers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outerwear, large bags, and backpacks can be left in the self-service cloakroom (building U, level -1) or on any floor. To use a locker, you’ll need a 5 PLN coin or a token (available for a 5 PLN deposit at reception or from the librarian on duty on each floor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
