The WUEB Library <\/strong>– formerly the Lower Silesian Scientific and Economic Information Center <\/strong>– serves as the university library and economic information center with the richest book collection in economic sciences in Lower Silesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The library offers all interested parties full access to the collection, access to electronic resources, wireless Internet and comprehensive scientific and economic information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility, with a volume of 31,000. m3 and an area of 8,200 m2, located on the University’s campus, consists of two parts, connected to each other and at the first floor level to the adjacent teaching buildings of the University forming an integral part of the existing complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two-story building, located inside the university campus, houses seminar and conference rooms, teaching rooms (computer labs), the Scientific Information Branch and librarians’ studios.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Basic library services are provided in a four-story building with an entrance from Great Street. On the first floor there is a script warehouse. On the second floor is the Lending Library and Scientific Information. There are about 200,000 volumes of books and periodicals available to readers on the library’s two other floors, 290 near-shelf reading areas, including 14 cubicles for individual and group work, and 50 computers. Wireless Internet is available throughout the building. Readers can browse the book collection on the spot or borrow via vending machines. Books can be returned for 24 hours, using a drop box located in the outer wall of the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to a number of facilities, people with disabilities have full access to all Library services (see Barrier-free Library<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
