The annual General Meeting of the Europe Direct network took place in Brussels on March 12-13, marking the launch of the new edition for 2026-2030. Kinga Żmigrodzka-Ryszczyk, Director of the UEW Library and the Rector’s Representative for Cooperation with the European Commission’s Regional Representation in Wrocław, participated in the event. The meeting included direct discussions with coordinators from across Europe and sessions devoted to the directions of European communication in the coming years.
The slogan “Room for Europe” emphasizes the need to consider diverse perspectives and experiences and to relate actions to the real problems of citizens.
The conclusions from Brussels will be used in the work of the European Documentation Centre and in preparing for the 6th UEW Library Good Practice Forum – a forum for collaboratively exploring solutions to the challenges facing research libraries.
