You can order books from the stacks—or from specific floors when the Library is closed—and pick them up 24/7 from the book locker!
Where is the book locker located?
The book locker is located outside Building U, near the main Library entrance on Wielka Street. To pick up books ordered to the locker, you need your ELS/ELP (physical or electronic card) or your library card (available as a barcode or QR code in your library account). You can also use the “My Library” app. Instructions.
Step-by-step guide to ordering and collecting books from the locker
How to order books to the locker:
- og in to the catalog at katalog.ue.wroc.pl
- find the book you want to order in the catalog
- click the “Order” icon
- select “Library Book Locker” as the delivery location
- confirm and submit your orderonce you receive an email notification stating “Loaded into book locker,” you can go pick up the book
How to collect books from the locker:
- tap “Pick up” on the locker screen
- scan your ELS/ELP (physical or electronic), your library card (QR code or barcode from your account), or use the “My Library” app
- retrieve the book from the locker compartment
Important information:
- orders are processed during the Library’s operating hours
- books are placed in the locker within one hour of the order being submitted and remain available for pickup for 4 days.
- The locker holds a maximum of 5 books.
- Orders placed within 30 minutes of the Library’s closing time will be processed on the next business day.
