Individual advice and consultation on the use of the computer catalog and databases subscribed to by the WUEB Library – is provided directly, by phone or by e-mail.

Multisearch engine and full-text databases
The purpose of the training is to familiarize participants with the tool for searching the Library’s subscribed resources, which is the “EDS Multi-Searcher”. The presenter of the training will demonstrate this tool, which allows simultaneous searching of the contents of the Library’s subscribed full-text and bibliographic databases, in order to find scientific and professional publications.

Economic databases
This training includes a presentation of economic and business databases. Participants will learn their structure, subject scope, and key features. They will learn how to effectively search, select, and export statistical, market, and financial data using the tools available in each database.

Bibliometric tools
The purpose of the training is to provide information on bibliometric tools used in the evaluation of scientific output: Web of Science, JCR, SCOPUS and the Publish or Perish program (an overlay to Google Scholar).
The training will also discuss issues related to:
- obtaining ResearcherID – an individual identifier associated with the WoS platform
- registration in the international system of identification of authors of scientific works ORCID
- setting up a researcher’s account on Google Scholar
Research staff can also make an individual appointment, during which a librarian will help implement the above-mentioned activities aimed at standardizing and disseminating the scientific profile.

Research Data Management Plan
The purpose of the training is to prepare you to write a research data management plan in accordance with the standards of research grant funding institutions. The meetings are dedicated to UEW researchers and doctoral students who plan to submit a grant proposal.
